EDCTC Approves the Release of Call for Projects for Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Funding
As the Regional Transportation Planning Agency (RTPA) charged with programming federal and state transportation funding for the west slope of El Dorado County, EDCTC has determined future estimates of available funds from the federal CMAQ program. The goal of the CMAQ program is to fund transportation projects or programs that improve air quality and relieve or reduce congestion. In accordance with Federal Guidelines, programming of CMAQ funds must consider quantitative data that demonstrate the project’s emissions reduction benefits.
On April 7, 2022, The EDCTC approved the release of the 2022 Call for Projects for CMAQ Funding. EDCTC is making available a total of $8,285,414 to eligible applicants. Applications are due to EDCTC on June 10,2022. The Instructions for Applicants and Project Application Form are linked below:
