EDCTC BACKGROUND
In 1993, EDCTC was administratively reorganized and separated from El Dorado County. The EDCTC is organized under a Joint Powers Agreement between El Dorado County and the City of Placerville, which was executed on June 6, 1995. The current staff of five includes: the Executive Director, two Senior Transportation Planners (one vacant), an Administrative Services Officer, and an Executive Assistant.

In an effort to keep El Dorado County informed, EDCTC offers a public service to keep the region updated on a variety of transportation programs and projects the agency implementing. From major transportation and transit projects, to bicycle and pedestrian projects, to long-range transportation planning efforts, EDCTC staff members are available to present these important regional issues to your group or organization.
