There are two standing committees that advise the Commission throughout the year: the Policy Advisory Committee (PAC) and the Social Services Technical Advisory Council (SSTAC).

The Commission is advised by the PAC, which consists of the City Managers and selected department heads representing the Cities of Placerville and South Lake Tahoe, as well as the Chief Administrative Officer and selected department heads representing El Dorado County, El Dorado County Transit Authority (EDCTA), Caltrans District 3 and the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG).

The SSTAC is a diverse group of persons representing the elderly, the physically challenged, and other individuals who are transit dependent, as well as commuters. The Council meets at least twice a year to identify possible unmet transit needs that may be reasonable to meet.
