EL DORADO COUNTY
BICYCLE TRANSPORTATION PLAN
On January 25, 2005 the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors adopted the 2005 El Dorado County Bicycle Transportation Plan. As a result, El Dorado County is eligible to apply for grants funded by the Federal Bicycle Transportation Account, of which California's statewide share this year totals approximately 7.2 million.
The plan provides a blueprint for the development of a bicycle transportation system on the western slope of El Dorado County. The plan updates the currently adopted El Dorado County Bicycle Master Plan, which was adopted in May 1979.
The Plan can be downloaded (see left) or viewed during business hours at the EDCTC office. Copies are available for purchase through the El Dorado County Planning Department, 2850 Fairlane Court, Placerville, CA.
